Viv Ramirez

Born in the “Philippines” and raised in “Richmond”—a little city near so-called “Vancouver”. (I am in active denial of colonizer names, so you’ll find me crossing them out a lot)

I tattoo, work in healthcare, walk my dog, and do yoga.

I'm constantly learning about decolonization and my role as an immigrant settler on Indigenous lands, as well as about my own heritage and cultural identities.

I live to assist others in their self-expression, contributing to our collective well-being through my support, art, and tattoo practice.

With lattefortea, I aim to play my part in the ongoing liberation and empowerment of all my neighbors, especially Indigenous folks, trans individuals, racialized communities, those with disabilities, survivors of gender-based violence, and anyone who bears the weight of intersectionality's challenges.

I love ‘holding the fort down’ in the middle of such a big city, creating little moments of community, rebellion, and solidarity in the midst of the horrors of this world.

We all deserve the right to choose the markings that adorn our bodies.

I'm here to support you and bid you well on your journey.
